1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
1–2 tablespoons milk (for icing)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter and white sugar until smooth.
Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
In a small bowl, mix together the ground cinnamon and brown sugar.
Roll the dough into balls and then roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
For the icing, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth and drizzle over cooled cookies.
