  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 bag (30 oz) frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, hashbrowns, and cheddar cheese.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and hashbrown mixture, stirring to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  7. The next morning, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
