Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk.
  6. Fold in the blueberries gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  10. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with lemon juice until smooth and drizzle over the cooled bread.
