  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, feta cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs.
  2. Mix until well combined and form into 4 patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through.
  5. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, and dill in a bowl.
  6. Toast the burger buns lightly on the skillet.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun, topping with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and tzatziki sauce.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add some red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture.
