Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 slices of prosciutto
8 fresh sage leaves
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup white wine
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place a slice of prosciutto and a sage leaf on each chicken breast.
Secure the prosciutto and sage with toothpicks.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour, shaking off the excess.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Pour the white wine into the skillet, scraping up any browned bits.
Return the chicken to the skillet and transfer to the oven.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve hot, drizzled with the pan sauce.
