1 cup rolled oats
1 ripe banana, mashed
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, mashed banana, applesauce, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
If using, fold in the mini chocolate chips.
Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening them slightly.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
Allow to cool before serving.
