  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup olive oil (for chimichurri)
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine the steak cubes and shrimp with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Thread the steak and shrimp onto skewers, alternating between the two.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the chimichurri ingredients: parsley, olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, red pepper flakes, and salt.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak is cooked to your liking and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  6. Serve the skewers hot with chimichurri sauce drizzled on top.

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
