Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, egg, garlic powder, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and shape into a loaf.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, and brown sugar to create the glaze.
  5. Place the meatloaf in a baking dish and brush the glaze over the top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add more gochujang to the glaze.
  • Serve with steamed rice and vegetables for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
