1 lb ground beef
1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
4 hamburger buns
Instructions
In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Add chopped onion and green bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
Transfer the beef mixture to the crockpot.
In a bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper.
Pour the sauce over the beef mixture in the crockpot and stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Serve the sloppy joe mixture on hamburger buns.
Notes
