Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add the diced carrots, celery, onion, and frozen peas on top of the chicken.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper over the mixture.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken and stir to combine all ingredients.
  7. Roll out the pie crust and place it over the mixture in the crockpot, covering it completely.
  8. Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
