3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm water
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1–2 fresh chili peppers, finely chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and chopped chili peppers.
Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a loaf or rolls.
Place the shaped dough on a baking sheet and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Let it cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
Adjust the number of chili peppers based on your spice preference.
For a cheesy version, add shredded cheese to the dough before baking.
Store leftover bread in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
